Ordering Process
How do I place a custom order?
Start by submitting an inquiry form with your event details. We will review your request and reach out within 48 hours to discuss design and pricing.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
Our custom cookie sets typically require a minimum of one dozen cookies to ensure the highest quality of design and preparation for your theme. Special packages - such as holiday promotions, unique offerings, or realtor sets - are available in specified quantities.
Do you offer realtor gifting solutions?
Yes! We specialize in curated closing gifts and open house treats designed specifically to leave a lasting impression on your clients. Learn more here.
Can I request specific dietary adjustments?
While we have a standard signature sugar cookie and lemon icing recipe, we can discuss certain dietary needs during the inquiry process. Please note our kitchen handles common allergens.
How does payment work?
Once we finalize your design, you'll receive an invoice from Bobbins & Batter. Payment is required up front so that I can source the tools and supplies needed to make your order special. Payment finalizes your order and reserves your pickup date. We currently accept all major credit cards and Venmo.
Can I provide inspiration photos?
Thank you for offering examples of the style you're looking to see. While it's helpful to see what you have in mind, know that inspiration photos are just that - inspiring. Your cookies may not be perfect replicas, but we'll try to keep it close.
Do you offer any additional items?
We have seasonal flavors available, as well as celebration cookie cakes. Reach out for more info.
Timing & Logistics
Shipping & Pickup
What is your typical lead time?
We request at least 2 weeks notice for custom orders. However, our calendar often fills up months in advance, so early booking is highly encouraged.
Where are you located for pickup?
Local pickup is available in Rossmoor, California. Once your order is confirmed, we will provide the exact address and coordinate a convenient pickup window.
No show policy
These cookies are best enjoyed fresh! Not showing up to the agreed upon pickup time forfeits your order. Need to reschedule your pickup? Please reach out 3 days prior for accommodations.
Do you ship your cookies?
Yes, we ship within California via USPS or UPS. Each cookie is individually heat-sealed and carefully bubble-wrapped to ensure safe arrival at your doorstep.
Can you accommodate rush orders?
If we have an opening in our schedule, we are happy to help! Rush orders (less than 10 days' notice) may incur a small convenience fee.
Is delivery available?
Delivery is included within Rossmoor, California. It is available to surrounding areas for a nominal fee.
Studio Policies
Due to the perishable and custom nature of our cookies, all sales are final. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt.
Returns & Refunds
Cancellations
Cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to your scheduled pickup or ship date to receive a studio credit. We do not offer cash refunds once a date is secured.
Privacy & Security
Your information is only used to process your orders and enhance your experience. We never sell your data to third parties, ensuring your trust is always preserved.
Photography
We create replicas of client orders to photograph and video for advertising and social media. If you do not want your cookies in the spotlight, please let me know at the time you place your order.
Copyrighted Images
Copyrighted images (think Star Wars and Peppa Pig) are protected, and I won't be able to replicate them on baked goods. We can take inspiration from characters and make a similar color palette though, so let's talk!
Upon Receipt
Once your pickup your order, what happens to the baked goods is all on you! Keep them safe, keep them cool, and keep them away from hungry mouths until it's time for your event.
